UNFORGETTABLE DAYS

Wow! It’s hard to believe our Cenlet Language Center has been operating for 20 years!! Time flies! It really does.

I still remember when I first became one of the teachers of English at the Center, I just graduated from university. At the time, I didn’t have much experience, was very nervous, but full of enthusiasm. My class then was a “special” one: it consisted of only elderly students who were working during the day and went to school in the evening, who had never studied English before. That’s why they were rather slow at “digesting” the new knowledge and wanted to have a teacher who was patient enough, enthusiatic enough, and willing enough to explain things again and again. It was a very “slow-running” class, whose schedule was always behind those of others, but it was also friendly and unforgettable. I can still remember many of the students in that class, and they still remember me.

The time I worked as a teacher at the Center has left me a lot of memories, so many that I can’t tell them all here. But it is always a nice feeling to think about that time, to think about all the teachers there, especially those in the Board of Directors, like Mr. Gioang, Mr. San, Mr. Minh, Mr. Tran, Mr. Ban, etc. I’m really happy that the Center has gone such a long way, and wish it would continue the way for a lot more and more years.
